I have asked a few different people about how to separate colors into Headers and footers on boards, how to change stylesheets from one category of boards to another, and everyone has told me that it is a plug-in that is my answer, so now I come to you, in a humble request for help. In my previous board, I had different colors and styles all set out by the headers and footers of each board in each category. The main board : vampst.proboards.comwas different than The Vampire board: vampst.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=VampICwas different than The Changeling board: vampst.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=changeic2etc. These were defined by the categories they were in; category 1 was changeling--it had various boards and sub-boards. Category 2 was mage, same thing, and then Vampire, same, then Werewolf, same. It's a World of Darkness LARP board. Anyway. I tried to achieve this with headers and footers again, but I cannot get individual colors to pick up no matter how I define them. The layout defines them, and the headers and footers basically are overridden, as far as I can tell. Even putting a different wrapper in each is a task I cannot accomplish. My request is for a plug-in that would allow the colors and styles to be divergent from board to board. Is that possible, or would it be far too difficult? If it's impossible, I would like to know so that I can seek out a way to make it work with the headers and footers again.. perhaps with lots and lots of work, but .. I will make the effort. Thank you so much for your time.
