This was in the general discussion board, but i think it actually fits better here.
So basically this is what I am trying to do with the code I have been working on.
1. If the user is not staff, hide the image and video ubbc buttons for them
2. whenever a non-staff member posts the plugin searches their posts for the image and video ubbc codes and then alerts them if they try to get around the code that way.
I already have the first part of the code...but the second I don't even know where to start. First of all would this even work in the visual editor or would the code have to switch to the ubbc version when the submit button was clicked? Secondly, how do i search the textarea for what I am looking for.
