Is there a way to bring back the list of active users for the last 24 hours? As an RPG forum we relied on that list to show potential users how active we are. Most people check that on a glance and if it looks dead they move on.
Thanks!

There is already a list of users who were online in the last 24 hours.
It's in the info center, by clicking:
View members online in the last 24 hours
Is that what you mean?

It's only a bit different because you have to click on it, but it's still there.
At least for me...

Yeah the active user list. I know its a link you click now. But all it does is being up a list. As admins we used the list a lot to see who has been online at a glance. Also players see the list and know if we are an active site. If no one has been online or if the list is real short most move on. I cant see people wanting to look for a button just to check if its active. Is there a plug in or a mod to bring it back?

This plugin is possible, but it would have to be done the same way it was done in version 3. Basically, every time someone logs on, their username and displayname is submitted via AJAX to a remote server (meaning a server you or someone else hosts - not Proboards). Then, every time someone views the homepage that server is queried for all the names that have been on in the past 24 hours. We'd need someone like Brian to confirm that this would be allowed, though.

That would be great. ^^ If it allows guests to see it too it would solve a lot of probs!

I'd like this as well... instead of having a link to the active users, just list the active users in the info center like v4.5.

This is all well and good, but it ideally needs to display the number of guests visiting the forums also, like in V4.5. Is this possible?
Thanks, Sam
