I see it only at the top of the page, but in v4.5 it was also at the bottom of the page & it was used a lot in our forums, which tend to have quite lengthy threads. It would save members a lot of time to advance to the next page if they don't have to go to the top of the page everytime to advance forward in a thread.
P.S. I know about the 'new' feature, but that is independant of this requested feature.

Scroll down a page and you will see that it 'floats' down with you - always visible.

That screenshot was taken halfway down page one of a two page thread. If you don't, then yes. I'd guess file a bug report.

We are currently aware that the scrolling pagination may not be working in IE7/IE8. Please do NOT file a bug report if you are using IE7 or IE8. We are already working on it. Thank you.
Additionally we are also developing a plugin that will place a pagination bar at the bottom.

So here I am again to report that I am seeing a floating page navigation bar at the top of the page even as I scroll down both in IE 8 and also in Firefox 17, which I just opened up so I can do some side-by-side comparisons.
Thank you for the updates. It's nice to see this working. The bar at the bottom will be nice, too, because that's what our people are used to seeing for page advancement.
