I'm looking for a code, template modification, or plug-in that will allow me to do the following things:
- Remove the UBBC icons from the shoutbox
- Be able to resize the text input area, not just the entire shoutbox
- Allow user-chosen avatars, not the avatars from the site

- Go to Admin Home > Themes > Layout Templates > Shoutbox
On line 23 you should see $[reply_box_buttons]. Remove that. And save. - Possible. But I will get back to you on that one. Needs a good bit of tweaking.
- I personally have no idea how to make that work. Sorry. Wait for a better coder to reply.

You're right, aRMY83. With the shoutboxes that I've used in the past, though, members often tend to use silly little avatars, like a pokemon or a cupcake for instance, whereas their actual avatar on the site is usually much more mature lol. |

Your first two points were reference 'shoutbox' and the third point was without reference to 'shoutbox' and that was the reason I replied. lol
