Just put the @ symbol in front the username to tag somebody.

And you may have pasted the link in the Visual Editor which can sometimes screw up with links. Try just pasting the link in the ubbc editor.

I did bring this up during the alpha stage of V5 to be part of the forum software without the need of my code but I think Ryan Roos said it would defeat the purpose of the quick reply. I replied for it to be an option instead; invisible by default but be easily switched on when a user edits their profile. I never got a response to that.

With that being said, I don't even know where to begin to port my old V4 code to work with V5 as a plug-in instead.

wildgoosespeeder, that's a shame that this probably won't be included. It was one of my favorite codes in V4. And, actually served a purpose rather than just being aesthetic.
