Thread tagging individually for users

Not sure how feasible this is, but I thought I'd ask.

There's already thread tagging definable by boards. I'm not entirely sure how this works for regular users (I've had a play as an Admin, but only briefly), but would it be possible to have a system whereby users could set their own tags (not necessarily defined by forum admins) for threads?
The reason I ask is that I'm about to have another look at the Template Mods board for the Index thread, and thought it would be a lot easier if I could tags threads as either [added] or [not required] or something similar, without them being viewable by anyone else. This would mean that I personally would know which threads I do or do not need to look at, without others being inconvenienced.

I'm sure that other coders would be able to find similar uses, or perhaps in some boards on RP forums etc.


Either way, while it's probably a bit of a stretch, I thought I'd ask. =]

We discussed this before and it might be added in the future. The reason we didn't include it to start is there are already so many new features we didn't want to overwhelm everyone with clutter and too many options. It's possible this will exist in a future update. There are a few issues with implementation but we'll worry about that when we decide to add it or not.

I should point out that as an admin you can create tags for your members to use right now. It's just a matter of setting them up with tags they might want.

It's less for me as an admin (I don't currently run any forums that actually get any use. =P), just something I might use as a member, and figured others would too. I have however had a wee play with the tagging system, s'rather cool. =]
