[Video] The Making Of A Plugin

A plugin I done for a request, I thought It might be useful for those interested in making plugins. 

So the video shows that process from start to finish.

Peter thanks for this but could you maybe explain whats going on while your doing the tutorial. I couldn't make out what you were doing. If you enlarge the screen it was blured and if not I can't make out anything.

Just set the quality to 480 or 720.

I thought about doing some tutorials with voice, but wasn't too sure how many would really be interested.  If enough care for them, then I might consider it.

Yeah, mine has voice but I realized that it makes the video really long so I'm working on shortening it.

Yeah, that was my problem with this video, it was a lot longer than 9 mins, so I increased the speed of it.

I think a better option would be to split it in parts, because for me, watching a 10min YouTube video is just about the limit because of peoples attention span.

Yeah, I know I'm going to have to split mine up, but hopefully two videos will be enough.

By the way, what software are you using? I'm using Microsoft Expression Encoder 4, but it limits me to 10 minutes which is annoying. Cam studio had terrible quality so I don't want to use that.

Good idea recording the making of your plugins, I might do such thing as well. Can be great help to others, though I can understand people will have trouble following when they don't have a lot of JS experience, which might be a bottleneck with not talking as you can't explain what you're doing.

The idea behind the video was to show you my process of making a plugin, this one was not really a tutorial, it was a quick overview of creating the plugin, adding components, inspecting the DOM, debugging, testing, and finally exporting.

I speeded it up (not by much) otherwise it would have been like 18mins long, which for me is far to long for people to sit there in 1 go and watch it. I could have split it up, but didn't want too as there was no voice.

Recording voice is very difficult for me due to the noise here, and I have no where to go for quiet. If it was possible, then I would.
