I think this is more of a minor change recommendation than a feature request, but I'll put it here anyway. 
When viewing a board that has posting disabled, such as this one, you see the thread icon legend below the board listing, even though there are no posts. I imagine this could be removed in such cases, since, you know, there won't ever be any posts there unless the settings change.
