So, there is currently (in v4.5 or v5) no way to quote a post in a locked thread. Sometimes this is necessary/helpful, for example when talking about something in a locked-sticky. Some kind of feature that lets you obtain this text would be phenomenal.
Here's my current layout for the idea:
1) Click the dropdown gear icon in a post
2) Select "Get Quote String" (this should be renamed to something logical.

3) Using AJAX, it opens a box that contains the quote UBBC code for the quote.
3b) Alternatively, this can just copy the string directly to your clipboard, though this is likely to annoy a few users.
4) You can then copy+paste it to wherever you would like to quote the post.
