PM threads

My members are going to be really confused by the PM system, not by the way it works so much but more because of the way it looks.  The problem for them is that a PM thread looks just like a thread on the open boards.  I need to change the appearance so there is no doubt in their minds that they are using the PM system.

Changing the background colour/image would cure this problem I'm sure.

Fairly certain that if you go Admin -> Themes -> Styles and Colours, and look for 'Conversations (Message Lists)', that should let you set colours and styles for PM conversations, without affecting anything else. =]

Fancy being able to click on something that is greyed out.... this is what I found:

Which of the above should I click on..... ?

Within the Message Lists;
Odd Numbered Colouring is the styles for PM's 1, 3, 5 etc.
Even is obviously for 2, 4, 6 etc
Without looking, I'm not 100% sure on the message header.
Participants (I imagine, don't have it open to check) will be the participants text at the very top left.
Code blocks and signatures will be the same as in posts.

Easiest way, I find, is to change the little preview at the bottom to the PM screens, and then just play with stuff. Change everything to a random colour, and it'll show you what it does. =]

Open them up anyway, they can still be changed. I think if you were to actually read a PM then they'd start lighting up, as that's a post page, rather than a message page.
