Keifer, what page are you getting that error on? What are you changing, what are you clicking? Please provide more details so we can properly assist you.

I'm at: Admin > Themes > Colors & Styles > Forms > Text Area > Background Color
After selecting my Background Color and clicking Save Changes at the bottom of the page, after a few seconds that Error pops up over the preview area.

Hi Keifer, Out of curiosity, does it make a difference if you use the top "Save Theme" button at all after you make the changes? Or do you get an error with that as well?

I didn't think to try the top one, Ricky, but I will first thing in the morning and let you know, thanks.

Ricky, it does the same thing regardless of which "Save" button is used, and it's still not letting me save a configuation this morning.

Solved! But it's weird...
As I'm trying new settings I'd inadvertently selected RED for the background of the standard Reply and Quick Reply areas. I attempted to change both to WHITE. When trying to save that configuation I received the aforementioned error.
I then chose BLACK for the background color of both Reply areas, clicked Save and it accepted it!
Thanks guys...I'll let you know if I run across anything else.

Now I'm getting the same error here:
Admin Home > Themes > Colors & Styles > Visual Editor > Body > Title Bars > Background Color
I chose 4f4f4f as the color (which I must use)
I selected NONE as the Background Image and clicked Save Changes. Getting same error as before.

Getting same error as before. Thanks for checking back on it. As a test, I was able to make those changes above without an issue; I also made a couple of other changes just to test (and have reverted back to your settings) and was also able to save those changes without an issue at all as well. Not to say there isn't a problem, however, as there is a similar issue reported in this thread as well. In this other thread, the person that's experiencing the errors says, for them, that it only happens when using Internet Explorer. When using Mozilla Firefox, however, they're able to make changes fine. Would you be able to give it a test with Mozilla Firefox as well just to see if the same can be said for you as well? Regardless, this issue will be brought to our developers attention due to the error you're receiving. Just trying to narrow it down for them as much as possible so that they may be able to find a fix quicker. Thanks for your help, btw

I shut down my computer overnight and when I booted this morning and checked the Betazone copy of our Forum, the changes that were giving an error yesterday have been done! Odd, but pleasing!

If you're talking about the colors, with the instructions you outlined here: Admin Home > Themes > Colors & Styles > Visual Editor > Body > Title Bars > Background Color I chose 4f4f4f as the color (which I must use) I added that in for you when conducting some tests to see whether or not I could get the error. Since I knew that this was one change you wanted to make, I kept it in rather than removing it like I did with the other changes I tested with

I added that in for you when conducting some tests... I don't care what everyone else here says Ricky...you're a nice guy! I appreciate it very much, and I'm working on getting Firefox installed as my time allows so I can test it more. Thanks again... Keith

It's not a problem, Keifer, let us know what you find out when you're able to give it a test in Firefox

Great news! I'm able to change any settings and save the configuration with no errors at all utilizing Firefox!
I'm hoping this is an issue that gets resolved in the final Proboards v.5 software release as it would be a waste of HD space to keep Firefox loaded simply for the sake of changing our Forum's settings.
Nevertheless, thanks for the suggestion!
