In your original request, you say to limit how many threads a member can create an hour, is that correct, or do you mean posts?

In your original request, you say to limit how many threads a member can create an hour, is that correct, or do you mean posts? either or Posts would probably be better since that would slow a user down a tad bit more but if you can do both that would be perfect if not Posts will work |

Is it possible, in the same way, to limit the boards where a user can post? We have a number of sock puppets that have infested our forum. Rather than just banning them, we'd like to restrict them to a single board and maybe slow down their posts per hour.

Ideally that would be a separate plugin. One to restrict certain members to a specific board, and this one to restrict their posting rate.
Request a plugin to restrict them to a board, and with any luck, both should work together to achieve what you're after.
