Peekaboo (multi tabbed) Right Side (BZ)

Like the Peekaboo's but with the option of 1, 2 or 3 tabs. (Or if you used my 'Triple tabbed Side Tables in PB's 4.5, same as that but optional number of tabs)
So you can have one large tab or 2 , or 3!

All the inputs should be self-explanatory, let me know if they're not.

Here are some images to start you off (Thanks to RADesign). Please rehost them if you are going to use them.

Ok so.. I tested this for you because quite frankly, I'm bored and I do like tabbed side menu's etc (love it on opera).
So, I stole your images to test it and..

Kinda messed up. Is it repeating for Tables 2 and 3 because I have them blank?
If so, you may wanna fix that. I'd use this but for only 1 table and not for 3. 3 is good, but for me 1 is perfect.

Ok so i decided to put the image in for table 2 and 3, and changed it to 3, now it's still messed up lol.

I just tested it out in Opera using 1,2 and 3 tabs ,  and mine seems to be working fine
Your site isn't open to guests so I can't see what settings you have in there.
I've added some images to the top post showing the settings I have as it'll help others as well.

Pebble: Ok I got it, I was dumb. "Width Of Tab When Open" and "Width Of Tab When Closed", I was for some reason thinking of something else, but that's the width of your image, and also "Height of Tabs" is height. I know it seems obvious, but the way you've worded makes it seem like something else


Perhaps change the name to "Tab Image Height", "Tab Image Width When Open" and "Tab Image Width When Closed" basically just add the word "image" to those 3, to make it slightly more clearer.

All works great though

Pebble - can you make it so we can turn it on for specific groups? I'd love to use Table 1 for staff, for example, and then maybe table 2 (and or 3) for members. That'd be awesome if you could

I have taken my site off "guests must login", go click the table, and you'll understand why I would like it for specific staff.

Yep, I'l re-word the bits you've mentioned.

The allowing it for groups is something I'll do but Proboards are going to add a variable for this (soon I hope) ,so as soon as that appears, I'll add it to the code.

I just had a look at your site and nice idea! As your content is slightly longer than my screen, I'm getting a scroll bar which is hidden behind the side tab. I'd squish it up a little so you don't get the scroll bar.

Yeah, I just did an image to match my resolution for now.
Ideally I'd want a 4x1px image (1px height) that would repeat to the size of the individual persons monitor. Not sure if that is possible for me to do with the plugin, is it?

No, at the moment it's not possible, but it should be easy enough to add that option next time I'm doing an update to the code.

The 1px image repeat to fit the screen resolution, would be brilliant if you can =)

I've added this to my site and it's brilliant, exactly what I needed. However the only thing I can add to the contents box is images. Have tried adding text but it doesn't show up? Also wouldn't mind putting my shoutbox inside one of those tabs if thats possible.

Any help appreciated

Put in  Pekaboo table Contents for Tab=

You can still adjust shoutbox width at admin/ settings/ shoutbox  and tab width at peekabo plug in /tables/ width of table until you are happy.

I had a problem with the scroll bar interfering so I returned the shoutbox to normal.
