This here should get you sorted, just pop it in your Home Template or Forum Wrapper Template, depending on Layout Templates.

Got it figured out.. It gets scary messing with the layout templates. But this one I figured out for myself!..  Rewards self with cookie and milk..

Admin > Themes > Layout Templates > Home and fine:

{foreach $[category]}
$[category.anchor]
<div class="container boards">
<div class="title-bar bbcode"><h2><div class="title_wrapper">$[category.display_name]</div></h2></div>
<div class="content cap-bottom">
$[category.board_list]
</div>
</div>
{/foreach}

and place this <div id="move-shoutbox"></div> right below {/foreach}

That's strange as it works on all 6 of my themes. Your link shows a completely different approach to "Shoutbox Just On Main Page And Threads", but if it works, then I say great!
