No. The weird part is, when he told me this, I went and made a gallery right then and there and was able to add in 4 images no problem. That's what makes it so strange. Could it have something to do with his browser? (I believe he uses Chrome, I use Firefox).

Hey, Todge.

I've got him on Ventrilo now. He tried adding to his gallery and says it just takes him back to the top of the page. I've got him trying it with IE to see if this is a Chrome issue.

Hi, Todge.

I've got an update for you if it helps. I've got 2 members who both use Chrome who are having issues with both creating a new gallery and adding to their respective galleries. If I get a chance today (quite busy with getting my next game patch out), I'll make myself a test account and see what happens with Firefox. I -might- have updated my plugins that might be causing an issue. I'll disable them all today and turn them on one by one to see if I can see where there might be a conflict somewhere.

I don't understand what can be happening, as if I try to add an image to the gallery at the top of the page, everything appears to work...

If you discover anything else, please let me know and I'll try to narrow it down. I THINK it's conflicting with another plugin, but I have no idea which one as yet.

Hi Todge,
we have an odd behavior just crop up; the search doesn't seem to be working on the gallery board.  When I try searching the gallery for all posts within the last 21 days, the first item shown is actually a couple of days old, but I know there are posts made today and yesterday.

Any thoughts?

Are you able to POST the gallery though? it doesnt seem to be browser specific but i will ask. for some users it doesnt work, and then suddenly it will.

Never mind, it is happening for all boards, not just the gallery. That does beg the question why the search function is unable to locate any of the newest posts however. Any thoughts abut that??

Are you able to POST the gallery though? it doesnt seem to be browser specific but i will ask. for some users it doesnt work, and then suddenly it will.

I haven't attempted to actually post, as I'd not be able to remove the post if it was successful. I can try if you wish, and then you delete it..

That would likely be a ProBoards issue, so there's nothing I can do about that, sorry.

I do know that the search feature has been rather fickle in the past, so hopefully it will be fixed sooner rather than later.

It looks like our culprit is Word Counter 1.0.5. It was the only plugin that had caused any issues with a member posting. I hope this helps. If you want a list of all the plugins we use, I'll be happy to PM them to you. It has stopped members from being able to add images to an existing gallery as well as prevent them from creating new galleries.
