My apologies to tpgettys and Todge.

It was not my intent to make it sound like there was a problem with the Member Galleries plugin. I was only trying to convey that Todge would be better suited to try and help resolve the issue due to being the plugin's author and knowing its intricacies.

Therefore, I apologize for my poor wording choice that may have led anyone to believe that the problem resided solely with the plugin itself.

What can be done is to include an optional field which, when used, adds a click event to the posted image, sending the user to the specified URL.

This plugin is inline for a major update, so I'll try to include that option at the same time.

Please Lynx, no apology needed to me.  I took your response to mean exactly what you intended.  We are all trying to get along and support one another; that is very clear!  Both you and Todge have demonstrated responsiveness and expert advice in all interactions.

No fret Lynx, if you believe there may be an issue with a plugin then you are right say so, otherwise problems such as this would never get fixed.

If it is the culprit, then there must be another plugin that is effecting this one, but we'll cross that bridge after we isolate this plugin as the cause.

What I have done is par the plugins down so that only the Member Gallery is using a Post key.  There is one plugin that uses a key of type "User (private)".

Could that be a possibility, or is there a possibility of an Error Code 32 being caused by a plugin that doesn't use a key?

Oh, and if I disable the Gallery Comments plugin, what does that mean, no comments will be possible?

It would make sense that vpester writes to a user's key once they have made a post so the user no longer gets vpestered about making a post

I am not sure, but I just realized I can disable vpester and not have to worry about a service being missed.  That will be much better than disabling Gallery Comment, so thanks!

karutzar and @joecool111, can you please try version 3.0.0...

You should now have an option in the plugin settings to display the images 'non-linearly' and an option to add a link to the images.

Sorry, I forgot about your problem with Chrome not downloading files. It has now been submitted to the gallery, and I'll post here again when it is accepted.

ok, iv tested it and the link/image thing doesnt work, iv pressed and unpressed all the options and tested and its still not working.

iv got all the options in the plugin set correct.

also im unable to comment on them, iv checked all the right boxes again.


any ideas ?


theres actually a 'finger' mouse over the image but clicking doesnt work if this is any help


edit: the comment box has actually gone, so theres no box to comment in.


edit : iv fixed the link/image issue but cant seem to fix the comment one .... i got the key plugin above the 3.0.0 but its still not there.
