You say when a member posts a reply?

Galleries cannot be replied to. The only threads your members can post in is their own gallery.

Can you create a new board and attach the gallery plugin to that board. I believe the fact that you already have open threads in that board is breaking the code. The Gallery board should only contain galleries.

Galleries can be replied to using the mobile app! that was why I highlighted the fact that there is no reply button for the desk top version! but there is for the app, I spent several hours working with members yesterday on these problems, the app allows replies [which then removes the add image button] you can disable replies in board permissions, but the problem after that is if someone 'likes' a picture in your gallery [desk top version] then that removes the 'Add Image' button? now you can disable the 'Like' button in settings, but to be honest it's a far better feature than a member gallery! I know these Plug-ins don't take into account the app, but most of my members use it!

I later did create a new Category purely for the Plug-in gallery, after initially plonking it in the middle of a current board, but the same problems were encountered.

I see you are using Firefox? That's one of the browsers I tested, and all seems OK.

What themes do you have installed?

I tried many different themes, most of my own, but also tried to use someone elses plus the proboards default and all browsers and I can't get it to work with both the gallery enabled and the theme changer. Must be doing something wrong. I just tried it on my 2nd test board and only theme I had using was someone else and the default and it still froze. I just disabled it on all of my boards its no big deal. Just hope it isn't my themes that is causing the problem but when I tried just using others it still jammed for me.

Now it's making sense..

The code was never designed to allow replies in gallery threads. The reason for that was to stop members from posting images in others' galleries, and because it's not possible to list the replies with the images they they are referring to. The code is finding a post not containing an image and is stopping. That's why you are losing the 'Add Image' button.

Todge i have disabled and removed the plugin again, after updating and testing it as it made no difference for me. It was still blocking posting on the forum, even after a shuffle of the plugins in the admin area.

I would like to have a gallery however, so if you could get back to me when you've sorted mamagail out.

Could you please disable the 'custom_template' plugin and try the gallery plugin again.

If you are changing the layout of the screen, specifically the posting page, that could stop the gallery plugin from displaying the posting page... Once that happens, and you navigate away from it, the plugin still thinks you're displaying the gallery, and so takes away your posting ability, as it keeps trying to display the gallery's posting page. That will happen until you either restart your browser, or leave your forum and return later.

I can't replicate your problem, so I'd need to see it on your site to have any chance of diagnosing it.

I don't need any admin rights, I just need to have the ability to create a gallery and post to it.

ok how do i get it to you. I don't want a whole bunch of guests using that test account. right now there is a problem with the theme changer not working at all regardless of plugin conflicting. You might want to wait on this.

Todge It seems with the update to the Theme Changer it also corrected the problem I was having with the Members Galleries. It now is working with the Members Galleries enabled. Thank You for looking into this for me.
