So, am I to assume nothing can be done re: the likes removing the add image button?

The 'like' button removes the add image button?

I'll look into that, hopefully I can find a solution.

Todge just thought you should know your plugin now works just fine, after i disabled the custom template plugin... Should I contact the creator of that plugin about the issue it brought up with blocking posts?

If you could link me to that plugin, I'll install it on my test forum and see if I can find a work-around. Failing that, if you want both plugins, then yes, you'd have to ask it's creator, maybe see if they can disable it on one board.

For now i have just put a copy and paste code in place of the custom post template and will see how guests respond to it for now, if they ignore them then yes i would like to have both plugins working but for now at least all is well with your plugin

Thank you.. I'd need you setting with that plugin too. But to save future problems, and if Shorty is willing, maybe he could add a function to disable it on a specified board.

The um custom template plugin was only enabled on my advertising boards, (submissions, first links and linking back) so i don't understand how it could disable posts forum wide. So i am off to contact shorty about it, and link to this thread too. Hope you don't mind?

Todge The plug in is awesome I have a problem tho with it tho.

In the gallery it self the add image button does not work, it does in the title bar tho. And When i go to post the image after i add the url and the comment I have to hit "add image" button twice.

I am using FF web browser btw

Any help would be appreciated

I doubt Shorty's plugin is disabling posts forum wide, but if the posting page is being altered, then the gallery code may well trip up, which is what I THINK is happening.

Todge i am not experiencing any problems with both plugins enabled, but a member has just reported something which sounds similar to what i was seeing originally. So i am just trying to get feedback from her right now, i asked her to refresh her browser and to try again >.<

That 'Add Image' button shouldn't be there, as far as I can tell, so I assume you have another plugin that is adding it.

Could you post a link to your forum please.

I'm afraid I cannot replicate this. If I 'like' a post in a gallery on my test forum, the Add Image button is still there, and is functional.

Are there any other details you could give?

Hi Todge, had a bit of a mess about with this tonight logging in and out between my Admin account (Destri) and my user 'Test' account (CurtEvil), I managed to post 3 images in my 'Test Gallery as Destri (Admin) logging out, then logging in using my 'Test' account  hitting like on the 3 images (all separate occasions) and then logging back in back in as Admin... and all was well, The add image button remained on all three log out/hit like/login tests -   Then I created a gallery using the 'Test' account, logged out and back into my Admin account, liked it... logged out and back in using the 'Test' account and the second picture below shows the add image button has gone! if none of this is clear.. I'm sorry..I'm tired
