Templates

I do not know if this has been suggested before, but is it possible to have a template? Like, when you are sending a message, or replying to a post, there would be a dropdown menu underneath the smiles, and you can choose what template you want..

And you go into your profile, under one of the tabs, and be able to create new templates, or modify/delete others.

This is not possible to do directly in the software unless you know HTML. There will probably be a plug-in for it eventually. This was actually the first plug-in ever requested, and by me, I requested it here. But no one made it yet. You can post their and show your support to help get the plug-in get created faster. Until then, you have four options:

1. Create it using the custom HTML options built into the software if you know HTML.
2. Use this plug-in, it just puts text into the message fields, it does not add fields though.
3. Code the plug-in yourself if you know how.
4. Wait for someone to create it.

You can already do a custom template for just yourself.

Profile > Edit Profile > Settings > Posting Default > BBCode

This will place whatever BBCode you want into your post automatically every time you go to the Create or Reply page.


For having a multi-template selection option it's like flyoffacliff said, a plugin. This or something very similar was already asked for. A plugin was the answer. Thank you for the suggestion though.
