I. Gotcha, so by default there is no border on the tables any more; thank gods. For whatever reason it kept putting one in. Regardless I can make those minor edits and wait for the style conversion.
II. Yeah, I just casually throw things out there to see if anyone has had luck/news/ideas on how to go about fixing it. Sometimes you get lucky and someone has figured it out. So far I am just going to wait on this and just have my side tables moved down in the meantime. Its not so bad... aside from problem III. that arises.
III. I try to move the code for the navtree elsewhere within the forum wrapper and it breaks (as in does not show up at all then) aside fro the "Participate" area to the far right (which I do not want there either.) It pretty much acts like that if you take it out of its area in the forum wrapper it will vanish all together.
Tried to move: $[participated_threads_link] elsewhere, such as under $[notice.message], and it will not go anywhere either.
<div id="navigation-tree"> $[navigation.tree] </div> When trying to adjust/move/do something with it in the visual editor there really are no options for me to adjust where it goes, what it looks like.. nothing.
Maybe I will just try again tomorrow. I have been at this for hours now and can't seem to get it. IF it is suppose to be able to move, and is not, either I am doing something wrong or it is the sidebar plugin. Tried doing it with the plugin disabled and it still doesn't go though so it was making me wonder.
Gotta take a break... maybe I will just try again tomorrow...
Thanks again.

Tohsaka Rin, did you see this thread by Shrike on moving the nav tree below the ad? I'm not sure what you need to move the news feed above it, but it might be a place to start. Perhaps drawing Shrike's attention to it would help. I discovered myself that long lists of requested modifications tended to turn coders off. If I asked for single, specific modifications individually, they were more receptive. Breaking it down gave them puzzles to solve without a lot of time involved, and right now, time management is important to them. They have a lot of requests to fill. Something else that helps is explaining how the modification can be used by other types of forums. If it is a modification that will appeal to a wide assortment of forum owners, it tends to have a higher priority. You have my sympathy on the enhanced UBBC coding dilemma, for what it is worth. Hopefully, Eton Bones will be able to find a way to convert it for you and anyone else using his code. Because of the quirks, it looks like it will be difficult and time-consuming, unfortunately. Good luck.

Yeah I was following those instructions prior to having to asking this, for whatever reason whenever I move it the navtree and participated area vanishes completely if it is in any other spot but where it is currently located.
Typically I never really request anything "too" specific for just myself, everything I use ends up being something many others also want (but have not posted requests for.) I obviously cannot code, but coding THEORY I am great at. In the past (ages ago when I use to actually program before all these languages started showing up out of the cracks) I use to use my art to create graphic representations of what I wanted as the end result while explaining the break-down of specific parts.
At that time, coders HATED that. Anything that was too well explained they ignored, and that continued for many years as the rise of tl;dr started making people highly OCD compulsive.
After then, I decided that I no longer was getting anywhere and focused on my graphic art (rather than coding.) I had previous websites and forums, but every time they converted to an upgraded style or format they really never listened to their customers (even paying ones) and shoved anyone that did not convert out in the cold.
It was basically like saying "if you can't do it yourself get out, because none of us have time for you or want to fix this."
Thus the age of plugins and self-brewed forum applications came about.
Proboards is the first one, in many years, that I actually like. Even the wiki-pages management thumb their noses at you now when they remove whole templates/codes from their material and expect you to grasp at straws to fix all of your pages.
If something is a common problem for thousands of users, then a fix is necessary to accommodate all those users in a way that solves a MAJORITY of the overall problem (while the more minor ones can easily be customized with more aforementioned help after the larger fix is implemented.)
The main issue about a lot of companies though is that you are reliant on seperate commissioners/free-lancers to do it for you. And unless you have money to throw at them they either 1. won't even look at you or 2. they will take the money but somewhere after several days they will abandon the project half-way through and still keep your money.
The coders here actually do help, even if they take time to do so, and to me (personally) that is something I have not seen in ages.
Course, even with that aside, I don't exactly love updates because of all the horrible mishaps in the past with all other projects/web hosts/programs/support I have had in the past from other companies.
(I threw a post over to Shrike's page also.)
Back to business:
For instance:
$[header] <div id="content" role="main"> {if $[notice]} <div class="container"> <div class="title-bar"><h2>$[notice.title]</h2></div> <div class="content pad-all cap-bottom"> $[notice.message] </div> </div> {/if} $[content] $[shoutbox] </div> $[participated_threads_link] <div id="navigation-tree"> $[navigation.tree] </div> </div> $[footer] - This makes it vanish completely.
I figure "notice" is the news fader, then again I am not really sure IF it is or not. Hahaha.
I even went and moved it around in various spots such as after the (/if), after $[notice.message], above $footer; yet the only place that does seem to keep it visible is if I put it below $footer (which is definitely not where I wanted it.)

I honestly don't know what to tell you. From this board's description:
Your posts here are better off in the templates/plugins board, either as new threads or in already existing threads for the plugins. Dunno what else I can tell you.

Yeah I posted them in their own separate threads over in the request and modifications way before asking in here - yet they have had no answers for quite some time. Thus is why I am posting in several areas at once. Bumping things only appears to annoy people - though I still bump all those threads every day.

Well far it be from me to minimod any further, but posting in multiple threads with the same issue is probably a bad idea as per support rules. Just food for thought. Even if people get annoyed if you bump, as long as you're not bumping too frequently (with less than 24 hours between bumps) you'll be fine.
Besides, if you post here you are going to get people who figure that you do know how to code, at least somewhat, since this is the developer area. :]
