This code will restyle text to be a gradiant from 1 color to another.  Combines the modules:

smear text in posts
smear displaynames
smear board titles
smear custom title

you mean color it one color or put smear on it? I believe you can add a color in the templates if you just want that.

I haven't even checked how you did this or anything so I might be way off on this, but I had a suggestion for something to check out with this. Could you possibly find a way to have the pluggin check the template for the smear? Like if inside the template HTML you put [smear "color a" "color b"][/smear] around the name of the quick reply or something it would work?

Yea...I am not requesting that at all because I doubt I personally would use it. It's just something that I think others would so I thought I'd at least suggest if it even works

I did notice that in the Template that you can edit, it doesn't often show text. Maybe you could do it by making a class? Or maybe there's another way...dunno

thats a good idea actually... you can just add a class name to something and it smears any text within that element. jquery makes it a bit easier to find elements now so its more doable.

that will be added to the next version. I will even throw a credit cookie in there for ya
