Automatic Redirect?

I little bit of a weird question but, I'm pretty sure that we can't put an automatic redirect in our codes correct? But what if we redirected someone from the home page to lets say, there profile page, and then back to the home page. Would that still not be allowed?

you have to give the ads a chance to be seen, so if you did it, you need to put up an alert that says they will now be redirected back to the main screen.

Okay so what I'm trying to do is to set some sessionStorage and I need the user to view there profile. So if the first time the user viewed the forum it automatically took them to there profile page, waited for the page to load, and then took them back to the home page, that would be fine?

the redirect would have to be done off an action. you cant do redirect from just loading the forum. that will send the bot after you.

what do you need from the profile that has to be stored?

I made a little patch that gets your username. But actually I figured out how to also get it from your mini profile on a thread listing page. So this part isn't really even needed anymore.
