The URL to the page you are on when the bug occurred. any page where the navbar contains a board or category bearing a display name consisting solely of UBBCWhat happened, in detail? Forums that contain boards/categories that used bbcode instead of text (e.g img tag) to create a display name results in navbar getting out of whack
What do you think should have happened instead? Conversion process should allow for such situations and construct a temporary text placeholder that admin can later modify at leisure:
- use the ellipsis with title hover
- use the V4.5 ID of the board (preferred - instantly recognizable)
- use the newer V5 ID of the board
Can you reproduce this on every pageview? yesWhat browser, version, and operating system are you using? Fx17/w7Please attach a screen shot (JPG or PNG -- not GIF or BMP) if it is relevant

Hi, Chris. I can't seem to duplicate this on my own forum. The forum uses the name of the category/board/sub-board for me and not the BBCode I used as the display name. Can you link me to the page in your first screenshot?

Also as a thought, Eton, try creating a brand new theme and see if this is still a problem. We are constantly updating the CSS fixing things such as this, so it may be that you just have an old CSS file.

Hi, Chris. I can't seem to duplicate this on my own forum. The forum uses the name of the category/board/sub-board for me and not the BBCode I used as the display name. Can you link me to the page in your first screenshot? The newer system ensures that useable text is provided during creation, the problem however seems to be a failure during the conversion process since it appears to extract plain text from the board's display name and in the case where no useable text results from that method (e.g. image) the name used for the board is simply blank. This particular case refers to etonbones.proboards.com/?board=examples where the display name for that board is " [img]http://s2.images.proboards.com/blank.gif[/img]". During conversion to betazone the display name of that board evaluated to an empty string resulting in that skewed navigation bar in my previous post. My suggestion was to use the id of the board ("examples") in cases where the text content yields no useable text. VS Admin: I made a copy of the default but got same result. If I manually edit the DOM and add text ("board:3" in second image) the breadcrumbs lineup once again.

Sounds like a bug for Tim Camara. He loves working on the nav tree.
