Customizing stuff is sorta a round 2 deal for me.


as for the idea of using text.. lets say you had a 6 letter Rank Name. you cant partially color a letter, so 0%-15% no letters would be colored
16%-32% one letter would be colored
33%-49% two letters colored


maybe... but it requires changing the main function.

I don't particularly like the idea of it being a word. It would look like a gradient rank name, no one would get that it's a meter. It's very clear what it is as a meter and I like how it matches the posting activity meter. If it's like the posting activity one, I'm sure it'll be quite customizable and should be adaptable to each person, even if it's not a word. I really just don't think anyone would get what it was unless told.

anyway to add words inside the meter?

If you hover over it, it has the info in it. If it's like the posting activity plugin, he could add the option in the admin panel to switch it from hover like that to just displaying below the meter?

well the meter itself is a table with 100 cells going across. each cell is 1px wide and background-colored whatever the gradiant happens to be at that point in the smear. there really isnt a way to put text IN the cells because then the cell would have to stretch to accommodate it.

Im adding the ability to put text above or below though. and the hover already has the current/next info

"Next Lv in: " + postCount + " " + postOrPosts
