There should be an option to make warnings go away over time. Such as 1% per day, or 5% per week. So members are not stuck with their warnings forever. This is an important feature for a warning system.

We already have this feature on our future features list. Thank you. Thanks. Do you think it will make the release, or be added in V5.X ? I think it is pretty important.

Okay, thanks. So the warning system is basically useless for now.

No, it's been this way and v4 and has proved plenty useful.

No, it's been this way and v4 and has proved plenty useful. I don't really think that this kind of permanent punishment is fair. I may leave it disabled on my forum until this is added.

How is it permanent? Anyone with the 'warning' power on the forum an increase OR decrease the warning. It's not permanent.

How is it permanent? Anyone with the 'warning' power on the forum an increase OR decrease the warning. It's not permanent. I know. Well, generally, staff will increase the warning level if a member misbehaves. But not necessarily decrease it if they do behave. Good behavior is not really noticed as much. It is expected. So the reward (warning decrease) might not be given. I hope that made sense.

This is a great feature, though I do keep looking for a plugin. I would also like to add that it would be good to be able to see a list of all members with warnings (Staff View only of course) In that way we could at least see who needed to have their warnings decreased without having to keep a manual list. Also we could see a trend with a specific member not posting on any of their accounts (RP board, they have multiple accounts on the forum.) Additionally, is there a possibility of creating a way to make the warnings additive. For instance, for holding up a thread for 7 days in an RP forum there is a 25% warning issued. But if these warnings degrade over time in the future.. it might have decreased to 17% by the time they get another 25% warning. Now the staff member would have to do math rather than just say: Add 25% warning to current balance.
