V4 Forum: ClickV5 Forum: Click
Avatar/Display Name/PMs appear in Side TableSimply, I would like the 'Your Profile' Side Table on my v4 forum to appear good on v5 as well. (except for the Switch Account thing since that won't work) If I paste the coding of the Side Table on v5 nothing will appear.

This one seems like it can be done with the templates? all 3 of those things are variables listed in the box

Yeah I think it is possible through there too, but I wonder how can I make it a side table in a template? The side tables I use are located in the Global Headers.

alright, so through experimentation, I found you could go into the board templates and set up dummy containers.
then you can use the info in the dummy containers later.
so I went into the layout templates, then forum wrapper. then I added this:
<div id="keepsakes" style="display:none"><div id="avatarsave">$[current_user.avatar]</div><div id="pmsave">$[current_user.messages]</div></div>
under the body tag. now by accessing document.getElementById('avatarsave').innerHTML you can utilize it from a script later on.

Thank you for the help. :] I managed to make these appear in the layout template (above the info center). But in the side table where I want it to appear, it still doesn't show up.
Here is the code of the Profile Sidebar, can you maybe see what I did wrong? And I did add the div IDs in the layout template of the forum wrapper.
<!--PROFILE //--> <div align="center"><img src="http://i1102./g459/BleedingXRazorXWrist/Profile.png" / WIDTH=200 HEIGHT=35></div> <div class="block1"> <center><div id="avatarsave">$[current_user.avatar]</div> <br><br><div align="center"><div style="font: 8pt times new roman; letter-spacing: 1; background-color: #2c2c2c; margin-top: 4px; color: #46cc22; text-align: center; width: 120px; padding: 0px 15px 0px 15px;"><div id="pmsave">$[current_user.messages]</div></div> <script type="text/javascript"> <!-- document.getElementById('avatarsave').innerHTML; //--> </script></center></div></div> <br />

So if I'm correct you meant removing: <div id="avatarsave">$[current_user.avatar]</div> But with what else should that be replaced to make the avatar appear?
