Just a thought here. We may be looking for it to pick out a birthday name and just maybe, we need to concentrate how to get the day / month / year of that birthday with name.

I have another test forum and I got this idea from Steve in the Welcome to the newest member template code he created and the latest post template code. I even asked him about the birthday thing; support.proboards.com/thread/460482/template-welcome-newest-member-mainsupport.proboards.com/thread/451288/Now I combined the two codes of his to go under one header and my thought is if a code will pick out a single member on a single post by a member it should pick out a birthday, here is the code I made and the forum I've got it on: <center><div class="container"> <div class="title-bar"><center><h2>Welcome To The Forum</h2></center></div> <div class="content"> <br><center><b>Please Welcome Our Newest Rider To The Forum: $[newest_user]</b></center><br /> <br><center><b> Latest Rider Post $[last_updated_thread.recent_link] By $[last_updated_thread.last_post.created_by_user]</b></center><br /> </div> </div></center> betaitistheride.freemessageboards.com/Just a thought here. I tried several different things with the day/month/year suggestion with no luck. I also bet Peter could figure this out? And let's go one step further and bet that pawl or Wormopolis could figure this one out. |

Its an AJAX request to get the information that the "current birthdays" link returns. even if you made something that called that AJAX request, its not allowed to do it on a page load. as stated before.. until the devs provide the data in a template or proboards.data it just isnt accessible.
