What I think would be cool is if the system kept track of total words typed. It could be shown in the mini profile along with post count. With posts, you get the same credit whether you type 2 words, or 2000 words. Mabye add an option to rank members based on words instead of posts, or a combination of both. This could also help find spam accounts, like if you saw one with barely anymore words than posts, or way too many words for the number of posts.

Don't plugins have access to user-based keys? That would probably be the way to go.

Don't plugins have access to user-based keys? That would probably be the way to go. That would probably not work for ranks though since they are controlled in the admin panel. If it did work, it would be hard to program. I think this would be cool to have built into the software. It would also give Proboards an advantage over other software. |
