I'm sorry, I wasn't sure where to post this ^^;
I was just wondering if there is, or if there will be, or if it would be possible at all to make a code or something that will make a v5 forum act and look just like it does in v4?

Greetings, In what ways are you asking? V5 and V4 are completely different pieces of software, and V5 has many new features that are non-existent in V4. If you have specific questions on how to do something or where a feature is located, you can as in the General V5 Discussion board.

I assume you just want to replicate the look and feel of version 4 with themes and/or plugins? That's possible to a certain extent as Brian has shown here. It won't be possible to perfectly emulate the old version, but you can get pretty close to it in terms of look and feel. If you aren't a designer though I wouldn't worry too much, whenever a new version of any forum software comes out usually one of the first things that some people will usually do is make themes to replicate the previous version... people are just that resistant to change. I'd say that there's a pretty good chance that a v4 lookalike theme will be released either before or shortly after v5 goes gold.

I'd say that there's a pretty good chance that a v4 lookalike theme will be released either before or shortly after v5 goes gold. It's something I've considered attempting for the entire forum instead of individual elements, but I know that both Brian and Peter have toyed with the same idea, at least briefly. Whether either releases anything is up for debate though, what with Brian being busy with his actual PB job, and Peter coding third-party for v5 in his spare time. =P If I find myself with a couple of free nights and a load of time to kill, it's something that I'll maybe see through (no doubt abusing Peter and Brian's collective wisdom in the process, haha), but definitely not in the immediate future.

One day, I swear I will have time to finish my V4 theme.
But it is not this day!
