Profile default privacy settings

 Would it be possible for the Profile Privacy 'default' setting when registering as a new member to be set to 'hide birthday' for Birthday Visibility? This would reduce the number of birthdays showing up automatically just because new members do not explore all the privacy options initially.

People choose their own setting when registering. If they choose to display it then it's up to them. They should be reading every field and making a decision. Additionally once you create a ProBoards account (in v5) your setting will be saved and signing up for new accounts will use your own default setting that you chose. So if you choose to hide your birthday, it will start hidden on new accounts to save time at registration.

If you don't like birthdays displayed on your forum, you can edit your template to remove them.
