Would it be possible to have an option that allows each member one chance to change their display name before name changes become disabled? The problem I am having with the plugin is that, usernames are made all lowercase and without spaces even if the member used them when registering. Having this option would allow each member to spruce up their display name or even change it if they need to before the plugin disallows them to.

Just updated to v1.6.0
I have both the replacement and optional messages filled in. Whenever I have the "Allow members to change name once before option becomes disabled?" option checked as 'yes', the replacement message shows, the optional message does not show, and members aren't able to change display names. If I have the option checked as 'no', no message shows up and members are able to change their display name.

So if I had the previous installed, a member signed up and could not change their display name (and therefore had the name display name as username), then I update to the current version of the plugin, will that same member get to now change their display name since they didn't (couldn't) before?

Hey i seem to be have an issue with this plug-in on my forum. Hopefully you can help me out. My issue is that the "Members of my board are still able to change their display name along with the staff. I have change around the who can view this plugin as you explained how too in the plugin about section. However it still seems like everyone can change their display name on my site. I also made sure that the option for 1 display name change was turned off. I provided some pictures as too what i see and my setting are like. Hopefully its just a stupid error on my part and im just missing something. Haha URL to Forum - rcoverload.boards.net/1st picture shows the "New Member" being able to change his user name 2nd picture is showing that he is a " New Member" 3rd Picture is me the "admin" As i am able to also change my user name 4th picture shows that i am "Admin" 5th picture shows the "Staff option on my fourm I have a 6th picture i am posting just below this Post!

matt16289 i'll look into this and see what i can figure out.Edit 2: download the V 1.7.0 update from the 1st post. hopefully that works. Edit 1: also remember if anyone accesses the forum via a mobile browser the plugin will not work, since plugins don't load at all in mobile browsers.
