Request: Show members online for past 24 hours

Hi all,

As with ProBoards V4.5 is it possible to introduce/convert the show members online for past 24 hours section of the info centre into V5 at all?

I think there are a lot of people who would love this, seeing as "Online in the Past 24 Hours" was a very easy way to judge if a site is active or not, and to attract new members. Having it readily visible in the info center, instead of a link, would be really awesome.

There are ways of doing this, but all of them unfortunately require AJAX calls that violate the rules for plugin development.

Since there's a great deal of interest, and since this was one of the much-loved features of v4.5, perhaps VS Admin would consider asking the PB staff programmers to add $[members_online_in_past_24hr] and $[guests_online_in_past_24hr] to the list of available variables in the layout templates.

Barring that, we'll just have to live without.
