Basically, yup.. But not just when things refresh. If you try to edit a post the times will be checked again, and if it's too late the code will block the editing and remove the edit button. The same with the posting options.. The delete option will be removed only when you open the posting options if you are out of time. And thank you..

Hi Todge , just a quick note to thank you for all your hard work on making your latest version work on my forum. It was very kind of you to spend so much time off this thread to do so for me. It s well appreciated.

I added it and my members can't edit at all, even though I have it set to 30 minutes. I can edit, but members are unable to. Something I'm doing wrong?

Could you leave your forum URL please? sss24My site has experienced problems with this plug in as well. trueblueliberty.com/I originally set it for 60 minutes and had complaints that they could not edit after just a few seconds. I tested it and it was true you would get a pop up saying too late. So, I changed it to 120 minutes. Then today it started doing the same thing saying that it was too late. I had tried to edit one minute after posting and got the pop up saying too late.

Someone reported it yesterday and I saw it today and tested it. The first time they posted about it was on the 17th. He says its not a biggy, and it isn't a bid deal to me, but I thought you might want to fix it. The site doesn't know I implemented an edit time limit.

Have you made any changes to your forum recently, particularly to the mini-profiles, as the code takes data from that in order to work.
I did take a look, but I can't see anything that would throw the code, as it's working fine on my test forum I assume there's something on your forum that is throwing it.
Also, try moving it up and down the plugin list, if it is conflicting with another plugin that can often cure it.

Also, try moving it up and down the plugin list, if it is conflicting with another plugin that can often cure it. I haven't done anything to the mini profiles. Today someone posted that they couldn't even delete their post, there was no option. Again, it was set for just a time limit. Neither was set for removal. Soooo, i decided to test this at my test site. I moved it up under the Monetary plug in. So the first plug in is Yooitil, then Monetary, then Disabling Edit after a set time. I have the plug in set up like this I made a post and went to it immediately and could not edit or delete it. It said oops too late, and the option for delete was not there. So, I then disabled all plug ins except for Yootil, Monetary and Disable edit after set time. Made another post and again went to it immediately and again was given the pop up that it was too late to edit and no option for deleting existed. So, I went in and disabled the Yootil and the Monetary plug ins. leaving the Disable editing after a set time as the ONLY plug in enabled and I made another post and went and checked it immediately and got the pop up that it was too late to edit and there was no option to delete. This tells me that location in the chain of plug ins didn't matter and that no other plug in is causing the malfunction. Not sure what else to test at this point. My test site is trueblueliberydev.boards.net/

You are correct, which means it's either the structure of your forum or the plugin itself which is causing the error.
Is this a BetaZone forum?

I've seen people mention BetaZone, but I don't know what that is, so to my knowledge no. I can't imagine it being a structure thing. My forum is fairly standard. I'm not using any fancy templates or anything.

Very strange. I'll take a closer look. I disabled it at my live site. But I left it as a lone plug in at my test site trueblueliberydev.boards.net/ if that helps at all

Very strange. I'll take a closer look. Since location and other plug ins were not the issue I enabled the other plug ins at my test site again. Any progress on getting this plug in fixed?
