Alphabetical plugins by Authors

Not sure if this was suggested before.

But is it possible to make it where everytime you import a plugin it goes into a Alphabetical state by Authors?

I'll give an example of what I did

Seconding that columns should be sortable in ACP tables, even without remembering the setting. Pretty trivial to implement client side.

Personally I don't want them sorted automatically by Plugin Creator, however if the option to quickly sort via Plugin Name or Author's Name was an option, I'd definitely like this. I don't by default want it sorted by Author (A-Z).

By default I am happy with it being how it is, and adding your last imported to the bottom.

actually thats what I was hoping for some options to alphabetize the plugins either Author/name it would be a decent feature to sort through

Ah right, it's just in your original post you specifically ask for "by author", rather than an option for the 2

We have sort options on other tables in the admin area. This won't be too difficult to implement. It just won't be right away.
