Wormopolis is it possible to instead of having the temp fit the weather (ie cloudy, rainy) but seasons instead, because on my page it's currently summer but the random number it gave me was 38 degrees F... while the place is supposed to be in Europe, even that doesn't get that low in summer. Could it be set up like how the regions is? how you can chose the highs and lows depending on the month (and this fitting the season a little better) instead of it being clear and 38 degrees in the middle of summer?

I have this issue as well which is why I suggested by month or region because for example a clear day in Winter in the UK we can get as low as 5 degrees celsius, or even 0 degrees celsius depending on the time of the day But a clear sunny day in summer we can easily reach as high as 20 degrees celsius and in case of a heatwave we can reach up to 29 degrees celsius (note that's our idea of a heatwave - I'm well aware this is low compared to the rest of the world)

guys you are wanting a lot of detail in this I dont think I can do. you are gearing towards having it have arrays within arrays within arrays, and the plugin settings dont allow for that.
tighten your high and low numbers to be closer to the median. if it is a sunny day, dont put it from 50F to 90F. put it from 65F to 80F and use a better percentage. if you want a sunny but colder day, then create another weather type with the same picture but different name, and give it a different range. like 60F to 70F.
getting 38F for a sunny day means you have a really low number for the low on sunny day, or perhaps you didnt choose Farenheit as the temp unit in the settings?

There was a way I could think of doing it but it would be giving the temperature ranges their own autoform that references the labels in a method similar to regions. So say for example
Label: January Temperature February Temperature March Temperature etc
Where the label name matches the label of the weather

seems less work to just make three weather types:
cool sunny day warm sunny day hot sunny day
and give appropriate ranges for those types of days and only assign those types to the months that would have them.
otherwise you have a disassociated array of temp ranges containing 24 entries for each weather type that has to be name crossed with correct name (point of failure of someone types it wrong) of each type. that just seems overkill.
I worry that someone is going to request the ability to have temp ranges per day per region cross referenced with ocean currents and global warming...

I was tempted to request humidity ranges The reason I'm against creating three weather types is because I show labels and it seems 'awkward' to display cool sunny day etc Oh and another request I'm tempted to make: Wind strength and direction

would it be too much work to just add in like say next to the frequency per month to add in the highs and lows so like when you type in the number of days in say January that it's snowing you put 20 for the frequency then in two smaller boxes you put in the high and the low so between 14 and 32 or maybe just a way perhaps that in the box that commas work, so 20,14,32 (freq, low, high)?
If it's too much work I understand, I'll just have to change the highs and lows 4 times a year like I do for my season sidebar.

Yes because it makes that autoform 24 entries longer. there are no smaller boxes or nested autoforms. every input on the autoform is the same size. making it complicated for those that didnt want temperature to begin with.
You could also do what I said above and make multiple weather types for that season. Winter Sunny Day. Summer Sunny Day.
If I do anything, it would be closer to the suggestion above and make yet another tab with an autoform for temp ranges per month per weather type.
but it wont be anytime soon. Im trying to keep focused on shootyboats.

Wormopolis - I'm having issues getting this shown in a sidebar, its staying below. I'm using the sidebar redux plugin however even with weather code at the bottom of the plugins list and its stubbornly staying out of the box beechriver.boards.net/Help? @_@

v1.3.5 added temperature gradiants for regions. see first post of this thread.
