fixed a day/night image bug


this bug actually started happening as soon as regions were added because I was changing a variable instead of making a duplicate. so every time it tried to use the same weather image, and it had already been used for night, it was still appended with night. even if the new region was during the day. if the new region was also during the night, it appended _night again. so I just made a dupe. now every image starts out as a day image again.

Okay I'm not sure if you can help here as its really working great! Is there any way of removing the line break or anything if you're not including say the month.

Because I don't want the month displaying but I do want the weather label and the temperature.

As in right now without I force everything on a new line it shows up:

[Weather Label]

[Temperature]

I'd rather it be shown as:
[Region Name]
[Weather Label]
[Temperature]

I know its possibly going to be a "no" but is there any chance to give temperature fluctuations to differ per region?

I... have one location that's a desert.... hence the asking xD I'll understand if the answers no

I have to look to see if there is a way. if it involves making yet another tab that requires listing out each multi0dimensional array, then likely "no". if I can see a way to incorporate into an existing array, then "yes". currently Im working on something else though.

I was envisioning it basically being a part of the region set up if that makes any sense? I'm not after anything complex just say

Region x - Temperature Fluctation 10%
Region y - Temperature Fluctuation 5%
Region z - Temperature Fluctuation 50%

Hello,

I just installed your plugin to my forum. I love it so far! But I have a few questions. I am kinda new to coding so I still haven't figured a few things out. How do I link to my night image? I want the image to change twice a day, as I have a daytime image and night image. I entered the url for my daytime image and it works fine, but I don't see anywhere for me to input my night image. How do I get that there? Also, what does the 'hours offset' do in the Time Manipulation category of the plugin? Thank you!!!

Also, it isn't showing my region or weather type, which I would like it to do if at all possible.

well the day/night thing works off the time you tell it to be considered night. you dont actually have to enter a night image, but rather what it does is look for an image with "_night" appended to its name. so if you had an image called

sunny.jpg

it would starrt using

sunny_night.jpg

as soon as that time hit until the next morning.



hours offset was put in to let someone setup when they wanted the day to actually change. so if for some reason you wanted to reverse night and day on your weathers, you could byusing an offset of 12. or you could delay night from happening for 3 hours by using -3

regions add in a whole new level of complications. I would need to see how you have your settings to know why it doesnt show

first off, great job on this plugin, I have only hit one small snag with it so far, and I have a feeling it more an error on my part, then a bug but I thought I would ask just in case it was a bug. How do you do the night images? I know they all have to have _night at the end, but I am not really sure where to go from there since when I tried to add them in as a weather type it would come up as a missing picture. Do they just need to be in the photobucket folder as the daytime ones?

You just have to have an image stored in the same directory as the day image , but with _night added to its name. Leave the weather image url as the day image. It will switch on its own when it determines its night time.
