In the Categories & Boards section of the admin panel, I like that this says how many boards, threads and posts (in the pop up), but one thing it fails to mention is the board name(s).
Can this be included please? What if I have 2 equally popular or unpopular boards right next to one another, go to delete one but delete the wrong one? It's definitely possible since if they are similar in popularity, I won't know the exact amount of threads or posts in the board.
Also, how can someone easily move 20 pages of threads from one board to another easily and fast?
The only way I know at the moment is to go into said board, select all > move entire threads. But I have to do this for ALL 20 pages, which is tremendously annoying, tedious and boring.
Can we have an option for "select ALL thread pages" or at least multiple pages (heck even 2 pages would improve it a lot (because 40 threads per page is the max, have a total of 80 selected?).
Or some sort of option inside Categories and Boards to "merge" boards, and then you select which board name + description remains, and it moves the topics from the other board, to the one you're keeping.
I just noticed, there's still no blockquote ubbc? Is this getting added as a default ubbc? =O

It's definitely possible since if they are similar in popularity, I won't know the exact amount of threads or posts in the board. What are you talking about? (a screenshot might help) Here's mine explaining that what you are requesting exists. There is a board name, the info you like so much, and the delete button. How are you confused which board you are deleting? It does not fail to mention the board name. I know you said "in the pop-up" but that doesn't tell me what popup you're talking about. Where you delete a board the name is clearly displayed, and any popup came from the bar where the name was displayed. Also, how can someone easily move 20 pages of threads from one board to another easily and fast? The only way I know at the moment is to go into said board, select all > move entire threads. But I have to do this for ALL 20 pages, which is tremendously annoying, tedious and boring. Or some sort of option inside Categories and Boards to "merge" boards, and then you select which board name + description remains, and it moves the topics from the other board, to the one you're keeping. This won't be added for two reasons. First, this isn't something that is regularly done. So when it is, it shouldn't be a big deal to put a little effort on the part of the person undertaking the task of moving 20+ pages at once. The second reason is because it already takes no time at all. I just timed myself. I moved 20 pages in 52 seconds. I went to the board where the threads were. (a) I clicked Select > All (b) I clicked Next on the pagination. Repeat a and b 20 times. (c) I clicked Actions > Moderate > Move > Entire Thread A dialog popped up, listing the names of all the threads. It said I was moving a total of 600 threads. (d) I clicked a new board. I clicked Move Threads. 52 Seconds.I don't think we could code it to be any faster and still let you choose which 20 specific pages you wanted to move. I just noticed, there's still no blockquote ubbc? Is this getting added as a default ubbc? =O Blockquote has existed, and does exist. This is blockquoted.

Ryan Roos, I just read my first post, and sorry, it doesn't explain much of what I was on about 1) Admin > Structure > Categories & Boards > Delete > A popup appears. It would be nice if it said "You are deleting: Board 1 Board XX Posts XX Threads As you see it currently does not say the board name of which you're deleting. 2) What I was asking for was a way to merge boards, be that by selecting all pages or some sort of function/feature in the Structure section to do so. I was not aware you could click to go to the Page 2 whilst the threads were all selected on Page 1, and it remember it. Is that the case in v4.5 too, or just V5? 3) Yes blockquote EXISTS if you use it, but there is no UBBC BUTTON for it. It should be here by DEFAULT, as it currently is (there's enough space to put it up). If it is there, it isn't for me (Opera 12.12). What I have is (from left to right): Font Face - Font Size - Font Colour - Bold - Italic - Underline - Strike Through - Superscript - Subscript - Justify Left - Justify Center - Justify Right - Justify Full - List - Horizontal Rule - Link - Email - Insert Image - Insert Video - Insert User Link - Insert Code - Insert Quote - Insert Smiley I seriously do not see it there.

1) We'll discuss this. You had to click into the dialog from a bar where the name was clearly displayed. However it might make sense to repeat the information if we can find a way to do so cleanly. Stay tuned. 2) Again. This isn't happening with any frequency to warrant the feature at this time. On the rare occasion that this happens you can do it manually. Merging entire boards is already in our future feature list. The way you described in your first post didn't sound like merging an entire board. That would have been a lot simpler to request. I showed you how to move threads in bulk in a quick and simple way. 3) There are lots and lots of UBBC that don't have buttons. If you want a button for something not included, like blockquote. You can add it in yourself. I think there already might be a plugin for adding buttons already (if not it would be a great thing to request). There actually isn't room when we resize the forum to our minimum supported width. You said there's still no blockquote ubbc and there is. There is no button as you now mentioned. You can type it or add your own. Don't forget you can include default BBCode in your post in v5. If blockquote is something you do in every post you could use this new feature.

If blockquote is something you do in every post you could use this new feature. 1) It'd be really great if this can be added. I can genuinely see people accidentally deleting the wrong board. 2) Honestly, I wasn't all that bothered about having a merge boards option, that's why I mentioned that second (after mentioning bulk moving threads). I was aware you could select an entire page of threads (40 being the max), but was I wasn't aware of, was the fact you could select all, and then go onto page 2, page 3 and so on, and all your previous selections are in tact, because in V4.5 it does not remember your selected choices when you go to another page. Out of curiosity, can you select all on page 1, then go to page 10 and select all? I mean, would that select only the topics on Pages 1 + 10 (80 total - based on 40 per page), or would it select all from Pages 1, all the way through to Page 10 (so 400 topics essentially, if you had 40 topics per page). 2.1) In v4.5 when you select all topics, it doesn't select Announcements.. can this be included in V5 too please? I understand that simply un-clicking it is easy, but again, having to Select all > un-select announcement(s), then select all on another page > un-select announcements, is extremely annoying. 3) So my questions now then are, what other bbcode is there (besides blockquote) that haven't made the cut to be in the posting page/WYSIWYG, and will there be a list of all of these somewhere for us, when the help guide is up? Adding the default blockquote via the profile option would be useless. I want to personally be able to highlight my text, and simply hit the button for it. Having default bbcode such as blockquote would be just as much of a pain, if not more to use. Thanks for your replies by the way, I do appreciate the clarifications and explanations.

1) We got in a big debate about this because we really feel it's impossible to delete the wrong board. You don't delete a board unless you intend to and then you don't misclick by 30+ pixels when you try. If you do, this is the least of your problems. It's really very clear already. Deleting is an intended action. People don't accidentally do that. However we feel that extra clarity is never a bad thing. So we will be adding some way of identify the board being deleted in the dialog.
2) We'll stick to the current system. Selecting posts between pages is a lot less logical then selecting posts you actually selected. If it helps you think about it differently imagine if we made it so when you selected the 3rd thread on a page and the 19th thread it selected everything in between. That wouldn't make sense. It's no different when you select threads 1-40 and then threads 360-400. The one's in between aren't selected. You didn't select them. Don't forget you could be unchecking threads on every page that you want to leave behind. We only move exactly what a person specifies. If that means it takes slightly more time, then that is fine. Moving that many threads, specifically or not, does not happen often enough that it needs to be made any easier than what is already a very logical way to do so.
2.1) The announcement does not move unless it is the original thread. However we will discuss the current behavior and ensure it is what we intend.
3) There will be full documentation. I'm not going to list them here. We already announced that we support most HTML type tags in BBCode format, there are also other things like Spoiler tags, etc.

Answers are going to be short/vague (just woke up ) 1) Ok =D 2) I wasn't just suggesting select all page 1 > go to page 10 and select all, it selects all on those pages. It was a genuine question. Since I wasn't aware of being able to select on multiple pages, I just figured I would ask that to see if it was. I honestly don't care that it doesn't. It was simply a thought that popped into my head. I don't care for a merge board now either, knowing we can go onto multiple pages. 3) See, by saying you support most (or even all) html formats, for me and plenty of other people who don't know of them all, or only know of the ones we have seen and used from bbcode, wouldn't know. I look forward to getting a list though =D
