On V5 where are the permission settings for attachments? I'd rather not allow members to add attachments like I have for V4.5. And speaking of settings, where can I set the options for blocking guests from viewing certain parts of the forum and for not allowing them to post.
Thanks for your help.

To make guests sign in, go to Admin > Settings > Forum Settings > scroll to the bottom: Guests Must Log In: Yes, No. I can't find anywhere to even active/disactive attachments on a per board basis. So I am as confused/lost as you, and would also like to know.

Thank you for the directions on how to make guests sign in. And at least I know I'm not the only one trying to figure out how to block attachments.

Is there any reason why a member of staff hasn't replied to this request ?
Is it now against Proboards rules to disable attachments ?

Thanks Stinky666
Although I understand that Proboard staff are very busy. I am surprised that no one has bothered to answer.
Unless there is some underlying reason, for not replying !
It would appear that it isn't possible to actually stop attachments, as one of the clever members would have known the answer .
I would like to know what Prioboards take on this is!

Me too! Attachments will be of no use to my members. I would also like to know how to turn it off ! Admin > Themes > Layouts > Posting Page then find this line: 24 or so $[attachment_button] then remove it. I prefer to do this: <!-- $[attachment_button] --> so that if I ever need or want that function back. If there are multiple themes, then this would be done to the rest of them.
