Display Name Changes Colors With Posting Rank

I'm not really good at explaining so look at the picture


that is what I was trying to do before with Beta
would something like that be possible?


you can change the rank color but not the display name color
basically all I'm trying to do is make it so that whatever color you have your "posting ranks" set at the members display name will change automatically with it

example:
Our starting rank when you register is Lurker.
username/display name: test
rank: Lurker
the color bother of them would be is #FFFFFF

now once you post you rank up to "newbie"
username/display name: test
rank: newbie
the color bother of them would be is #339900

and so on and so forth

the problem is that rank data isnt accessible everywhere like a group name is. I asked if ranks could be added to the classnames, but Im waiting to hear back. if it cant be added, then there just isnt a way to determine what the posting rank of each listed username i.

so there are a few codes that can't be changed then or added to

well posting rank was never a global data in v4.5 so Im not sure what you mean on that one. the miniprofile has access to posting rank because its right there in the same box.

but for some reason it worked on the forum instead of the mini-profile

yeah the way it is written, and that it says in the description itself, it only affects the username links in a miniprofile. usernames on the main page wouldnt see any color change.

is there anyway to make it accept the Member list as well?

not unless they agree to my suggestion that posting rank gets added to the class list of a displayname. on the members list, ANY group that the member is in will override the posting rank in that third cell. if you still want to colorize regardless of group assignments, then that wouldnt be able to work.

I was trying to see if it could just be done in the templates, but I hvent got anything to work yet
