The collapsible options aren't working for my forum. What are the collapsible options supposed to look like when they're working?

Nevermind I figured that out. But, is there a way to add an eyeball icon or something instead of just clicking the title bar?

I've used the script to only have this show on the home page but I'd love to know how I can have it show on boards and sub-boards to test.

Also on the home page is my original issue that the title bar it is in line with news. I want it in line with shoutbox so that the space above disappears and the news bar returns in line with participated.

Is there also a way to make the box longer in height as I want to fit more recent thread on it.

Do you want it to only show on specific boards or on all of them? The latter is much easier to accomplish.

This might work to move your news and Participated button. Goes in the global header.

I think the latter is best as it wouldn't compromise the viewing of threads.

If you're using the homepage code from the first post all you should have to do is change this line:

if(proboards.data('route').name != "home") {

To this:

if(pb.data('route').name != "home" && proboards.data('route').name != "board") {

The main problem is the Welcome Header Below Ad plugin is moving the header after the code executes.

You may want to place the code in the footer instead. Also, try moving the $[news] variable so that it's before the $[header] variable in Themes > Layout Templates > Forum Wrapper and it should hopefully fix the width issues (it's showing two items at once right now).

Nearly there. its actually not bad this way but is there any way to now to get participated next to news instead of underneath.
