The <img> tag works the same way regardless of what image you want to use. Obtain the image's URL and add it in the tag's src attribute.

Put my Shoutbox in sidebar. Seems to work OK except it has to be refreshed with every page view. I know just enough about coding to be dangerous. LOL. Can you help?

The fact that you have two shoutboxes is probably making it very unhappy.

If you want to move the shoutbox into the sidebar you should relocate the existing one rather than copying and pasting its HTML from the source of the page.

Everything in your sidebar containers is rendered using HTML. To add a line break using HTML you need to use a <br> tag.

I keep trying to put a hyperlink in the sidebar.  it just doesn't work.  It works on the boards and such but not there.  Am I doing something wrong?  Here is the hyperlink and my forum.  jjspicksnplays.com/

This may be the wrong place but, as of today, my tweets have stopped showing in the sidebar.
I haven't touch any settings since installing & I've just checked that it's the latest version.
Anyone have any idea what's happened?

My plugin has no bearing on whether or not the contents placed within it will display. All the Sidebar Redux plugin does is output HTML.

This is showing in the browser console when I visit your forum:

You may have been effected by an update to settings in embedded timelines. See twittercommunity.com/t/deprecating-widget-settings/102295

I would suggest trying to remake the widget in case a new one is required and seeing if the new widget works.

Thanks Brian . That seems to have done the trick
Righto, now I need to see how I can toggle it to show tweets "about" @curecommunity in & not "by".
Different thread i guess.

Edit: Any way to limit it to just show, say, 10 tweets? The new widget has the timeline running way below the bottom of the forum pages.

@ssscadmin: The sidebar containers have the same classes as the regular forum containers, so if you're styling those with the visual editor they'll inherit the same changes.

Container styles are usually controlled in Body (Content) > Containers > Content Areas.

Hello.
I hope I've jumped to the wrong conclusion but it appears that I cannot add another sidebar to my forum. Is there a limit to the amount of sidebars one can have?
I want to add another 'league table' to my forum down the left-hand side but when attempting to do so, I get the following error:
Your plugin settings could not be saved. The data you entered requires 69392 bytes (the limit is 65535 bytes).
The table is exactly the same as the others except for the information.

This error means that you've met the plugin's storage limit. 65535 bytes is the maximum amount of data the plugin can store in the forum's database. The byte size is determined by how much text you have saved in the plugin's settings.

In this case there's unfortunately no way to add new content to the sidebar without first removing older content.
