[request] Hide menu buttons from guests

As it was suggested there, I'm posting here to ask for a plugin which can make admins able to exclude certain buttons from displaying to guests.

This plugin should do the trick. I'm guessing this might be possible without a plugin but I couldn't find any other way.

Texas, which plugin is it? I couldn't access anything at the webex link you gave. (I too would like a way to hide the chat button.)

Hello Texas...

FYI...

Settings for this plug-in are:



Navigation settings:



Everything works great with this plug-in until I create a 'Custom Page' for the navigation bar (Rules) after logging off:



which is okay, but when I click on 'Rules' I get this:



As you can see, the 'Help and Search' appears and are functional when one clicks on them. I have the settings (plug-in) to remove these buttons.

Sorry for all the images, but thought it would explain it better.

EDIT: For some odd reason, everything is working okay now, so disregard this input.

I'm working on getting this so you guys can add any image you want to it (as long as it has letters in it).

If the Chat button is a result of previously having Live Chat from v.4.5 it's a Custom Page. You should be able to edit the permissions by click Custom Pages under Structure.

EDIT: I just tested that. It doesn't remove the button but it does change the access allowed to that page.
