Global Key

A global key which can be edited by only certain users/user groups. The data would be accessible on any page.

A sample use case would be a "House Points" system. The key would contain the total scores of each house. A "teachers" user group could award/deduct points from the total.

Plugin settings could be used for this, but having to enter the admin panel for every operation wouldn't be very user-friendly.

Other types of keys may be added in the future. At launch we will just have the two Key [private key] and Super Key [user key].

We're still working on the names actually.

A Global type key is actually something we are already working on as part of the ProBoards RPG Shop that will come out sometime after launch. It is possible that we will also allow forums to utilize these key types as well.
