Trying to work on a custom home page for our site. solariamock.freemessageboards.com/page/homeSome of the widgets don't seem to be working properly... I made a new thread and it doesn't show up in recent posts or threads. They all seem to be the posts and threads from when the forum was first started. (Well calender events from when the forum was first started which I'm guessing had to be turned into Threads for the V5) I tried to link to a specific post and it didn't accept the id said it didn't exist; putting the id of the next post down links to a completely different post. This may have been me being stupid and missing a number off the end when I has having trouble scrolling right with my touchpad. Seems to be working fine now - but pretty sure the number I'm using has one more number than the one I tried to use in this instance... Calender widget just lists the events in January not the upcoming events. Any idea how to fix any of this? Thanks!

Hi, Maiden. I'm gonna go ahead and move this to the bug reports section since this seems to be buggy behavior. I'll also be linking this thread to the devs, so can you leave that custom page intact so they can see the errors? You're free to do whatever else on your forum.

Sure, the link to post is just assigned to a random number because it wouldn't accept the number I wanted; but I shall leave it all as it is Thanks!

Just to confirm, are you linking to the actual post or the entire thread?

The actual post. I used the link to post widget, and then tried to use the id you get when you click the link to post on the gear.

If I switch to a non admin account (just made some this morning) then the rest posts/threads widgets do what I'd expect of them. So I guess the problem with those is that those threads are new (in the hidden Calender board that is created on conversion) and as an admin I can see them. Doesn't explain why the new thread I made to test didn't show or the other problems but just letting you know

Hi Brian, Will you let me know when I can change them...? (I want to change the page layout but should have the same widgets in it ) No updates yet. Devs are working on lots of stuff right now. Why not make another page with the same widgets?

Tressa, I just put the number in too, and as I said in my first post one of the ID's I tried didn't exist and the post below it linked to a totally different post.
Good idea Brian. Get so caught up I can't see the wood for the trees sometimes >>
