Sorry if this has been asked before. I've been bookmarking a lot of posts but can't seem to find it. Is there a way to move the shoutbox to the side tables. I am using Sidebar Redux.
Thank you!

Hi, spiceelicious. Simply paste this code into one of your sidebar containers. Then go into your theme's style sheet ( Themes > Advanced Styles & CSS > Style Sheet) and add the following CSS to the end: Or if you're using Style 1, use this code: Substitute sidebar-id with whatever you typed into the ID field for your container in your plugin settings.

I've run into an error. I'm sure I did it correctly but being blond you never know. This is the error message I get when trying to save the style sheet. variable@ve_posts_code_text_color is undefined
Also, the built in shoutbox is still there.

Tim is investigating the @ve_posts_code_text_color issue.
I tried myself and it displays correctly on my forum. Did you follow the instructions correctly? Your sidebar should have this code in it:
And your Global Footer should have this code in it:

ok, that did the trick. Not sure why id didn't work before. Just a quick question. Do I need to add this part #sidebar-id > .content { border-width: 0px; background-color: transparent; padding: 0px !important; } to the CSS for all the themes I use?

Brian - Hi Brian, here I am trying to make this work... I have a little issue, I now have two funny looking sidebar shoutboxes and can't figure out how to get rid of one. Could you take a look, please? Also, how do I make the forum span a little wider across the page so that things aren't to tight? Forum

OK, I adjusted the width so now I only need to figure out why I have to sidebar shoutboxes.. Also, Brian how do I make it so that the shoutbox is in the sidebar on the homepage only? I'm so sorry, so many questions

Place this in your Global Header:
Replace the text in red with the ID you gave the container with the shoutbox in it.

BrianHi Brian, I'm sorry I'm just at a loss here... I switched over to the Beta forum to test this out, so far I'm experiencing the same issues. I have two shoutbox sidebars on the home page (wish I could get rid of one) and then followed your instructions to make the sidebar appear only on the home page (which I found here on your plugin's thread). Then, I'm trying to force the page to spread at 1240 width, but even though the preview box at the bottom of the visual editor shows the change, nothing happens to the forum itself... Then, every time I insert that necessary code at the bottom of the Style Sheet I get this error message: variable ve_posts_code_text_color is undefinedWhat I'm trying to achieve is to have a sidebar with the shoutbox in it on the home page and then a sidebar with a list of all the boards on every other page (leaving the shoutbox at the bottom on every page other than the home page). Not sure if this is achievable, in any case I'll take any help you can give me

Seems a lot of us are getting that error message no matter what we try and do. I am getting it in the style sheet, inserting plugins and trying to save them and probably more.
