Hello ChrisIt may have been covered within but I can't seem to locate it in reference of placing a functional Spoiler hire button. I'm sure this is possible and have no idea as to the "how to" and need your guidance on this. EDIT: disregard Eton as I just figured out how to implement it. For those who maybe reading this and unsure of the answer you have stumbled upon I'll restate it here. - add spoiler as the tag
- give it an image to use for the button
- Done

Yes I should have given the input Chris as to how I solved it. Will remember that the next time I ask a question and then solve it myself without a reply from anyone. Here is a image I made in case someone wants to use it:

Update: adminabp, I've somehow managed to allow a version of the Control Freak that addresses the "tag instead of name" bug along with added support for the pragma_* attributes to escape the coding pen. I might lose my job over this so keep it on the hush-hush, but if it comes to that then oh well, C'est la vie. I'm still in the process of rejiggering the code so it is easier to understand thus maintain but for the points we visited previously in this thread I wanted to release something that you could use. See the "nightly" download link at the bottom of the first post in this thread to get the newest release Awesome! Thank you so much! Sorry I haven't been able to give you any feedback any sooner, but I have been dealing with some unexpected personal matters that unfortunately left me with little time for anything but dealing with them. The improvements/fixes to the "nightly" are working great. No complaints, issues or problems. Again, thank you.

jrryan, I had the same problem and so did a friend. I went to the first page of this thread and got version 9.5 and it brought back the rest of the buttons. That new thing Proboards added isn't there though, so I don't know about that Reply link part. ETA: That new button added by Proboards has now come back on it's own, so all is good.

Note to all users of this plugin, this new embed button obviously would not have been included in the plugin as a default buttons since I've only found out about it this very day (btw hallelujah for this new button) so if you visit your full reply page just once then the plugin should remember the button from then on. However, f you're using an outdated version of the plugin then I suggest you update to the most recent version since versions prior to 0.8.8 would not have the memory feature necessary to recognize a new button such as this. Thanks for making me aware of this JJ and jrryan, I'll add the new button as part of the default set in the next update.

jrryan, that new "button" option didn't show up right away for me or my friend. But after awhile (a few posts,) I guess Proboards had a hiccup at our sites and installed it again on both Reply and Quick Reply. But I'm using the 9.5. Maybe the 8.9 version is preventing that hiccup from occurring? Try the 9.5 version and see what happens.

Incremental update to version 0.9.6 which: - adds support for the new insert embed button - adds option to turn off API-created buttons (for diagnostic purposes) If you are using v0.8.8 (or higher) then there is a feature that "remembers" buttons when you visit the FULL REPLY page and replicates what it sees the next time you use the quick reply. This feature allows the plugin to "discover" buttons that have been changed through theme settings and it is also this feature that allows the plugin to "see" the new embed button and have it show up on the quick reply. If you do not visit your FULL REPLY page at least once or you have blocked websites from storing data on your computer then the new button will remain undiscovered until you've performed that action or upgraded to the newest release. Version 0.9.6 now adds that new embed button as part of the default set of buttons.

Aha, Chris, that is exactly what I did to 'wake up' the Proboards program, I used the Full Reply option. Thank you for the validation and explanation. I also thank you for your dedication to insuring that your contributions are up to date, over and over again. You are a true asset to Proboards, I hope they appreciate your efforts.

There's a typo in the JS Component source of v0.9.6 and v0.9.7 that will result in the embed button being treated as a second class citizen by the plugin. I plan to do some comprehensive reforms in the next session in preparation for taking the plugin out of beta but since the plugin is editable I'll show where to fix it then fix it officially in the next update:
The "t" in insertEmbed is missing so for all you do-it-yourselfers out there you can correct that by inserting a "t" in the appropriate spot at line 370.
Components Tab ==> Javascript ==> line 370

Can only see default ProBoard smilies in quick reply now and just before installing latest version of this plugin. Seeing first image, but should see the smilies in the second image. Attachments:
