I don't use the Shoutbox, but Eton Bones shows you how to still make this work and how to turn off the Shoutbox if you don't want to use it. Ok, I have this plugin installed and I have come across one small problem with it. When in the quick reply area, if I click on the color wheel to change font color it won't do it. Screen shots can be seen  HERE  It works fine in the reply area; just not the quick reply. Any ideas or fixes?

Forever Sunshine since this is actually a problem with Chrome that occurs even on this support forum which does not have the plugin installed, I'm gong to suggest you redirect your attention to this thread

Chris I've used the plugin to place UBBC buttons in the Quick Reply box but for some reason, the images are repeating.

I've updated the Insert Video UBBC button in both the theme manager and plugin settings yet it still displays the old red Youtube button that I can't get rid of.

I would need a forum URL Kim, my initial impression would be that two different versions (perhaps stable and nightly/advanced) are installed at the same time but an image cannot tell me what is installed or how it is configured.

OK Kim, apparently there are custom buttons created on that forum that duplicate the existing buttons Proboards has already given you. The custom button feature is if you wanted to create a button not already there, for example V5 no longer has a blockquote button but with the ability to create custom buttons you could easily create such a button for V5. I'd say delete those custom buttons to get rid of the duplicates or go to the fire tab and put a checkmark by the original Proboard buttons to remove them if you wish to use your own custom buttons instead of Proboards (some advanced stuff like the color picker you would not be able to recreate however)

Chris. Ah, I see. I wasn't aware of that, I misread the use of it. I've checked all the boxes in the fire tab, as I want my own custom buttons there but everything appears to have been removed.

Currently if you remove everything (all buttons and menus) then custom buttons are also removed. What i think you're trying to do is use the plugin to define your own button image but there's a place for that in the admin panel already, you do not need the plugin to do it. You obviously know about this place in the theme images section since the default Proboards buttons already have custom images so perhaps you should explain what you're trying to accomplish by creating your own buttons and removing the Proboard ones ?

If you don't want buttons that bold, italicize, etc you can check them on the fire tab to remove them but then creating buttons that do the same function you just removed seems counterproductive, so please explain what you're trying to do

I was just trying to place my custom UBBC buttons in the quick reply box. I misjudged the plugin without correctly reading the plugin and jumped to conclusions. Thanks for clearing that up.

[3] Switched to the same prototype manipulation method the advanced version uses in order to avoid conflicts with other plugins that modify menus such as the smiley menu.

It was something available in the advanced (experimental) edition that eventually made its way to the plain vanilla (basic) edition. Version 0.8.5 was released over a year ago and that's like several lifetimes in plugin years, entire forum civilizations would have sprung up, conquered the world and fell to the might of other civilizations since that plugin was released.
