I'm not sure if this is readily available yet(I haven't seen anything that might be able to do this yet). Basically, what I'm looking for is something that will allow you to have clickable links in Custom Profile Text Areas.
For example, say I run an RP and I want my members to have clickable links to all of their character bios in their profiles/mini profiles... which is exactly what I want to do, lol. Anyway, so far, none of the options available by default have allowed me to create clickable links. Even some sort of drop down box would be great!
Also, an update: The only way I'm able to use any clickable links in a custom profile field is if I use a text field with the light bbcode parsed option. What I need though is a text area that I can have clickable links in...
UPDATE: Rather than links, something that allows tagging(Example:@ username) in a text area within custom profile fields would be great.

Hey, Mercy, I think I might've found the answer. If you enter a new custom profile field, choose "Text Field" and then under the Options, there's the option to use "URL." I'm not sure if this is what you were looking for, but it's what I was looking for lol.

I tried that already and it didn't work. I attempted all of the options under custom profile fields that would have fit with what I need, but to no avail. Not to mention, text field wouldn't allow you to create the number of links that I would need for a list of characters and the links are not clickable. So far, none of the urls I have entered into any of the options have been clickable.

We have a single link (back from rp profiles to the players main account) think it's a normal accept anything text field with [URL= etc in.
Sent from phone, please forgive typos!

xD Maiden, I don't know if it's because I'm exhausted or what, but I read your post a number of times and still have no idea what you're saying... sorry, lol.

Probably made no sense because I was wrong lol (should learn to wake up before trying to post from by phone lol). Sorry about that. Light BBC code parsed is what we used (I couldn't check on my phone this morning but have just checked now)
Could you use the text field option and just have lots of them?
Blank custom fields don't show up on the profile so for people who needed less links could just not fill them in?

No, it wouldn't quite work too well using just an abundance of text fields. That would probably just get really messy, especially considering we don't have a set character count.

We don't have a character limit either (we're going the opposite way, with an OoC Account field for the IC profiles to keep things linked) but most people still don't have more than 10, a few cases 20 characters, and the Text fields are easy to create, and not a problem if they're left blank.
I've linked my IC profiles individually in my signature name - name - name etc, some people have used an image to link to their character sub-board. (Not saying you should do any of these just offering other suggestions seeing as this popped up in my participated again.)

What I mean by messy is, I don't want the title of the text field to constantly be displayed if I were to go that route. It would be extremely repetitive. I know it's simple to add more text fields, but despite the simplicity, it can also still be a nuisance. With a text area, all I would have to do is add one and I'm done.
