Plug-in Request RPG Template Saver in Profile

Many of our members, including myself, use templates on our RPG posts, however when I tried to move this code over to my v5 test forum, it did not take. I'm assuming it is in large part because the layout of a users profile is much different than what it used to be. Hopefully there is someone out there who would have a general idea of how to make it work?

I know there is a post template plug-in out there already, but it isn't the type of plug-in we need for an RPG forum.

If I understand correctly then it's already possible to do that. Just go to your profile. Click on edit and then settings, scroll down to where it says Posting Default and set it to BBCode, then a box appears and you can add a template after your own choice and it will appear when ever you want to post.

Unless it's where people can choose between different templates, then you might need a plug-in.

I would like an option where they can choose between different one's, but that is certainly the beginning to such a thing. I was not aware it was there so thank you for that. But for my site right now, for instance, I have six templates set up because I have 6 different threads going. It's much easier to save the template on there, then to have a word document with all of them, or to recreate each one every time.
